today's thought: Yuna's an angel, but I'm only human, so I'll take the unbelievably cute Rikku..

137th entry. Its been amazing. A real helluva ride. Here I am, clocking my 137th entry, and almost each one of them long enough to be a 1000 word essay. And that’s excluding my private entries. Woah. Can anyone imagine the amount of time I’ve wasted. But not entirely wasted; having a diary like this allows me to express myself more than I usually could. It has been an outlet which I could vent frustrations, share my joy, whine, and badmouth people. And it has made me take out time, now and then, to reflect on myself, my actions, and anything else that needs reflecting. It has certainly made my brain alil more active than before, and that’s important while being in a braindead organization like the SAF.

I’m gonna start giving each of my entries a title. At least it’ll make my entries look alil more tidier. When I first started, I had no idea I would need to painstakingly name each entry someday just to make things look neater. Now I have to embark on this quest.

But it is still much better compared to playing blitzball on FFX. Blitzball is a torture. I can fall asleep playing blitzball. Not long more, only 4-5 more blitzball matches to go before I get Wakka’s celestial weapon. GAWD! That’s the hardest thing I ever had to do for any game, and it has certainly stretched my patience to new limits.

I’ll be reading through entries while naming them, so maybe I’ll pass comment on them now and then. While at the same time listening to Madonna, checking on Astaria, and writing this entry.

The waterlily was available in Astaria. The lily is the only, only thing in all of Astaria that can tempt me to hunt and be active again. It isn’t the hardest to obtain, nor is the the most powerful weapon or the most expensive one. It’s pretty averagely rare, but gawd, do I think its cool. I mostly log on to Astaria to talk to Sileas, Rahab, Sasani, maybe Camilla, and probably anyone else who wants to talk to me, or talk about soccer with Myrias and Xerath. That’s about it. Read the boards, and just log off.

Astaria’s a thing of the distant past.

Went to take my Basic Theory today. I was stressing myself, unnecessarily might I add, over it, since before yesterday I only read, casually, to about 2/3s of the book. And last night I was busy thrashing Zhirong in Winning Eleven 7, and didn’t get any studying done. And today, I woke up at 10 in camp, and had to do some admin stuff, and played a few more rounds of WE7 until 3.30. Then I started studying earnestly. Kinda worried, but people have already been telling me what to look out for, so I just memorized the more important parts.

And I had to rush down to BBDC, meeting Heng Swee on the way. We were all pretty stressed on the way there, but hey, the test was pretty simple. There were a few stumpers, a few dubious questions, but on the whole, it was quite easy. There was only 1 question, about how far a parking vehicle should be from a fire hydrant. I had no impression whatsoever of reading this part, so being the cheat that I always have been, I asked Heng Swee. Good thing he knew, and that rescued a point for me.

When in doubt, cheat. Just don’t get caught.

Then we heaved a collective sigh of relief, and went to get our dinners at Mac. Haha, and I was in abit of a crazy mood, and I constructed a totem from an ice cream cone, stuffed a McNugget in the side, so that it looked like a tongue. Drew out the eyes and nose with chilli sauce, put some fries at the top for hair, some tartar sauce on the nugget to simulate drooling, and finally, I named it Mr. John, and wrote it in clear block letters on the back of the McNugget box and made it stand, so that it looked like an art display.

I am a potential food artist.

So I went to renew our passports with Zhirong yesterday. Long queue. Saw this really hot teenage girl. When I say something like that, it’s gotta be really eye-catching for me to mention it. I don’t pay much attention to girls, not because I don’t want to, but because having to turn and crane your neck just to look at girls can get really tiring at times. When a girl catches Zhirong’s attention, she would be 1 out of 2. When a girl catches my attention, she’s gotta be 1 out of 10000. Not cause I’m picky or what, but because I ain’t too interested in this kinda thing.

Which is why Lennert says is the main reason why we get along well.

X-Static Process isn’t too shabby a song. But it still ranks behind Fortune Faded and Powerless for now.

Oh, having a banner really generates a lot more traffic to my site than before. And I realized just how many people actually use Diaryland. The community is really huge. Woah. Anyway, its nice having more people reading my diary. If you are one of those, welcome, and have a look around.

Continue tomorrow.

Wait, just dropped by mtgnews.com for fun. There’s been new bannings in the Extended and Type 1 format for Magic. Good thing I offloaded the more expensive ones, else they’ll be near worthless now. Still have a few of the less valuable banned cards. A lot of these cards should have been banned for a long long time already. Oath of Druids and Tinker, both really annoying cards.

Woah, put in a lot of work in FFX. Finally got Wakka’s Celestial Weapon (bye bye fucking blitzball!), and started work on maxing out my monster arena. Down to the final 3 areas, which are the hardest. Collected most of Rikku’s cheaper overdrives, got Auto-Haste for Auron, got all the Al-Bhed primers. Quite a fruitful day. Time spent on FFX is now clocked at 111 hours and going strong. I’m addicted.

Changed abit of stuff; added in a section to important entries in my diary (I think), so I’m putting it there so that I don’t hafta sift through hundreds of entries to find it. All those entries are which I think are either meaningful, or which would serve as a great reference.

Other than that, there isn’t much I’ve been doing today. Its one of my slackest day in a long long way, I was basically a sloth. Ate, played FFX, logged on to play Gunbound now and then, ate, napped from 8pm to 10pm, yes, an odd hour nap, and then back to FFX again, then its now this at 4am.

The value of absolute freedom.

Anyway, I think I might be having a lil’ problem. Right now, my entries still look alright, but in future when I start adding even more links on the side, my entry will appear even lower down. I think the space between the header and the entry itself is still acceptable for now, but I gotta work on solving that soon. Everything above the entry proper is in a table, so the longer I make the links section to be, the lower down the entry will appear. Gotta switch to putting in frames, but then, I don’t like frames, and I don’t wanna hafta restructure everything again. What a dilemma.

Ok, fixed the problem. Sorta. Gonna go get some sleep now.

Going back camp later. Another day of FFX again. Lets see, I cleared Mt. Gagazet in Monster Arena, completed my Music and Movie Sphere, got Tidus’ last overdrive (why is Yuna the one who’s throwing the ball? I want Rikku.) And started work on the treasure hunt in Omega Ruins, which is unbelievable annoying too. Hopefully that’s the last annoying thing I hafta do in this game.

So damn tired. Don’t feel like writing anymore.

mood: must.... slaughter... nemesis... must.... max... stats...
current music: since its FFX week, I vote for Zanarkard's Theme, the one which plays when you are at Zanakard Ruins.
